Office Assistant/Bookkeeper


 

What will you be doing?

  • Data entry
  • Balance AR and AP
  • Review invoices received from vendors for any potential discrepancies and process accordingly
  • Answering phones
  • Filing and record-keeping
  • Provide admin support to managers
  • Balancing of manual sub ledgers.
  • Assist with shipping of product.
  • Other related Duties as Assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Sage 50
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office(Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Accounts payable and Accounts receivable experience
  • Experience in manual reconciliations

Adaptability-able to receive feedback in an open and forward thinking way to adjust to ever changing demands and situations.

Motivated-self starter with the ability to work independely and contribute to the team in a positive manner. Is motivated to improve upon weaknesses for self-reward and personal job satifactions. Values continual learning and improvement

Organization skills-uses time efficiently and prioritize appropriately with strong time-management skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-12 per week

Salary: From $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kingsville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Sage 50: 3 years (preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
