About the job.
The Laundry Attendant is entrusted with the responsibility to operate with meticulous precision and efficiency. This role serves as the cornerstone of our Resort's commitment to providing exceptional service to guests who choose to stay with us, be it for leisure, special occasions, or business purposes. A skilled Laundry Attendant understands that delivering the highest level of service demands meticulous attention to detail, which can only be achieved through a strong work ethic.
What you'll be doing.
- Strip linens from all vacant dirty rooms
- Sort laundry, load machines, transport loads and unload laundry
- Transfer wet laundry from washer to dryer
- Loading and loading laundry bins
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate levels to supervisors
- Inspect, iron, hang or fold all linens and towels
- Monitor linens levels and replenish as necessary
- Maintain all laundry equipment and machines
About you.
- Extreme attention to detail and respect for what you do
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
- Conscious of housekeeping resources and using resources wisely
- A desire to look out for others because teamwork means everything to you
- High physical capacity to get the job done
- Available to work both day and evening shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays weekly
- Own or have access to reliable transportation to Brentwood Bay
- Known in your circles for being friendly, dependable, and reliable
