Baker


 

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Follow recipes and measurements accurately to ensure consistent quality
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment regularly
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules

Experience:
- Previous experience as a baker in a catering or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and methods
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment, such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creativity and artistic skills for decorating baked goods
