Office Administrative Assistant


 

We are looking for an energetic and reliable staff member to join our team. The administration job involves working alongside a seasoned advisor in the areas of investments and insurance. The chosen individual must be able to work well within a team environment and thrive in dealing with multiple tasks at the same time.

Specific job responsibilities would include booking client meetings, sending follow-up email notes to clients, processing investment applications and trades, and preparing documents before a meeting.

On occasion, the successful candidate will be required to drop forms off to clients and therefore reliable transportation is required.

Strong typing and communication (written and verbal) skills are important attributes for this position. Administration experience in banking or financial services is important and advantageous. Please note - there is no remote work option for this position. Health benefits and group RRSP savings programs are available after specific lengths of time.

Our firm has enjoyed many years of success in the Edmonton area. Our 12-person team consists of people with varying tenures within our company. We want new additions to our team to grow with our firm over time in terms of both job responsibilities and compensation.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $47,500.00 per year

  • Secondary School (preferred)

  • Financial services: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • investment or insurance license (preferred)
