Anderson Craft Ales Ltd. is a family-owned craft brewery opening in London, Ontario. We have a passion for making (and drinking) great beer, and are looking for another like-minded individual to join our team.
We are looking for a sales rep for the Toronto area who is passionate and knowledgeable about craft beer to promote our products in that region. The ideal applicant will need to be reliable, trustworthy and attentive to customer needs. Most of all you have to be a hard worker with a friendly and outgoing attitude that our customers will be happy to work with.
Core Responsibilities:
· Gaining and maintaining licensee accounts
· Enhancing current customer relationships
· Network with various restaurants/venues to collaborate on events throughout the year
· Plan and execute promotional events and tastings
Regular tasks
· Respond to licensee needs, phone calls, and emails
· Build and maintain relationships with customers
· Cold calling of prospective licensees
· Keeping a thorough database of licensee information
· Setting, attending and following up sales meetings
· Filling sales orders and coordinating deliveries each week
· Meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Attending events in your region, when required
Required Skills
· Passion for craft beer
· Understanding of the food and beverage industry
· Ability to multitask and work under multiple deadlines
· Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work without direct supervision
· Regular access to computer and phone
· Reliable access to a vehicle
· Minimum 2 years experience with sales and marketing
· Energetic, passionate, outgoing, and friendly attitude.
· previous experience in beer sales is an asset
· any professional beer certifications are an asset
This position will be base salary + bonus.
