· Extensive knowledge about products and menu
· Clock in and be early for shift
· Tidy sections, make coffee
· Check on float and make change if necessary
· Make sure POS is clean, charged and has receipt paper
· Great, and seat guests.
· Announce specials
· Bring food and drinks in a timely manner ON TRAYS
· Clean tables of empty plates and glasses and used cutlery
· Take ALL payments
Bartender
· Weigh in and have manager check
· Count float
· Clean work space
· Cut garnish and get ice
· Make sure bar is stocked for the day, you have what is needed
· Upselling drinks and providing recommendations
· Manage take out window
· Serve section
· Keep an eye on glasses and wash if necessary (hot potting after cleaned)
· Restock bar end of night
· Weigh out
· Keep an eye on inventory, alert bar manager if getting low
· Create drink specials
