Forco Equipment Mechanical Services is a Heavy-Duty repair shop and the Atlas Crane dealer for Western Canada.
We are looking for a Red Seal Technician who can be registered to do CVIP inspections.
Remuneration is on experience.
We service a wide variety of different equipment such as off-road equipment, heavy and light duty truck, crane maintenance / installs, hydroseeders, generators, compressors, scissor lifts, hydraulic work and more. We also do some custom performance truck builds.
Experience in hydraulic & electrical is a definite advantage.
We have a good team with an easy-going attitude in our shop.
This is an increase in our staff due to volume of work we have had really good growth.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance
Diagnose equipment problems and determine repairs as needed
Asses equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Request parts needed to repair and maintain equipment through Fullbay
Service equipment attachments and working tools
Maintain a clean and tidy personal work area and assist with general cleaning duties in a workshop environment
Maintain daily record of all work tasks and materials
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes
What You Bring to the Team:
Journeyman/Journeywoman Mechanic
Experienced and considerable knowledge of the methods, materials and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of various types of heavy equipment and other power-driven equipment and tools.
Skilled in the operation of variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of heavy equipment
Capable of preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports in Fullbay
Ability to analyze and repair mechanical failures
A motivated and punctual self-starter
A team oriented mindset
Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a strong attention to detail
Must be professional when dealing with customers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday
Salary: $45.00 to 55.00 per hour depending on experience.
