Job Description:
As a freelance delivery driver for our store, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of our daily orders, including balloons, flowers, and cakes, to customers in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. This is an ideal opportunity for Uber drivers looking to supplement their income with a part-time gig.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License: All applicants must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license, and be able to drive company's cargo van.
- Reliable Vehicle: Applicants must have their own reliable vehicle, preferably an SUV, to ensure efficient and secure transportation of delicate items.
- Availability: The position typically requires 2-3 hours per day. Weekdays are less busy, but weekends can get hectic, so flexibility is key.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport and deliver orders to customers in a timely manner.
- Handle balloons, flowers, and cakes with care to maintain their pristine condition during delivery.
- Occasionally drive the company van for larger orders or special events.
Qualifications:
- Excellent driving record and knowledge of the Vancouver and Lower Mainland area.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
